Pinata parties are all the rage in L.A. especially at the Forgela Studios. I’m bring the fiesta back to Florida and can’t wait for this little beauty to be delivered. Just in time for Patrick and Gabi’s birthday party!

I participate in all cultures and Holidays. Coming from a person who, celebrates both American and Greek easter. Shit, I even have a Name Day (July 20th just incase you wanted to get me a present). This past Friday, we were Jewish for the night; attending a good friends Shabbat Dinner. The tradional candle ritual, challah loaves and wine were all served. Followed by the best Matza ball soup and a chicken dinner with Veggies from Gideon and Tara’s garden. Thx to the host and hostess for an amazing meal and company.

When in Encinitas, I try and visit the Self-Realization Fellowship Ashram Center. Not only is it a peaceful place to relax and read a book, but there are some of the best views in Southern California.
This is where the old temple used to stand before erosion got the best of the building.

My attempt at being a photographer… some pretty flowers.

The real Photographer.

Its so tranquil and calming here.

Another attempt at being an artsy photog… this waterfall was actually 2′ tall… tried to make it look massive. It connects one Coy fish pond to the next.

Oh, Hi Fish Face.

I dont know the name of this place but it’s right across from the Saloon… Best late night Nachos. Yay Greer!

Yes, sometimes we work. Last week was Holiday 09 Product launch at the Vans offices. If you have never been, here is a sneak preview of what actually goes on before it gets to your feet and body.
Upon entering the offices, the wall is indeed a skate ramp.

Before product gets to you, we go through 18 months of preparation. This is us girls doing some forecastings.

We love you samples and Prototypes.

Nicole is one of my favorite people at Vans. She is an amazing designer and person. Thx for the Silver Lake tour and having coffee with me at LaMill.

Happy Birthday Hallie. Had to give you a shoutout!

Anyone that travels knows, living out of a suitcase can be difficult at times, but just as fun. You come home, pack another suitcase and leave the old one behind.

Somewhat disturbing, somewhat cute… you can get your infant little girl her first high heels.
Numerous thoughts came to my head when I first saw these however, I appreciate innovativeness and authenticity.

If here in Orlando, get a group of friends together and check this place out. Wow, come to figure, i eat out alot… prolly because I really don’t know how to cook. Buyer be ware though, the few things I do know how to cook are pretty fantastic.

If you don’t eat meat, don’t fret, there are plenty of other things to choose from. I hear the Tuna stew is tasty. Most of us got the marinated Ribeye.

After dinner, the owner gave us a little special treat, Rice water mixed with fresh squeezed orange juice.

So, upon leaving the owner lady then asks me “do you ride your own bike or, did you ride on the back of someone elses”. It took me a sec to figure out what she was asking me, then Mel said, “she ment Motorbike”… and we all started laughing. Either, or…i guess both but, this night, we bicycled it. Maybe it was my outfit that night.

Just your average bike pile-up.
