Here is to Florida Thrifting! I find cool, random $h*+ all the time and I added this to my collection. Late 1990′s GWP Chanel wrapping paper and it’s quite a heafty few rolls.
At this time, i’d like to introduce you to my Tumblr. Surprise! It’s a Girl too

The other day, Publix had some herbs on sale. 2 for $2. I thought to myself I’ll give herbs in my apartment another try. This time, I picked out basil and chives. Traveling a ton doesn’t make for the best green thumb. Although, my gardens do prosper at times.
I had these little Ikea vases hanging above my sink. The basil smells phenomenal while washing the dishes.
The best part is, when i went to Starbies they have free espresso used grinds in a basket for anyone to take. I took a bag and a little goes a long way. At my parents house, I used their used espresso too. Happy cooking ya’ll!
I consider my Trader Joe products to be right up there with my Chanel daily regime. Pretty aint it?
p.s. I rarely wear makeup. Just really take good care of my skin. Vitamin C, Big sunglasses, SPF and lots of water. Oh yea, and throw some Kiehls exfoliate in there and…boom!

It is almost time for cardigans and sweaters. Even though the Florida heat is still a mere 90 degree’s, I can feel Fall itching it’s way in. I can see myself wearing this for the Fall and into Spring time with its lovely sorbet colors.
I’ve been super lucky with my finds lately. Add to the collection of this Cashmere Chanel (color blocked) cardigan. Notice the 2 front pockets… Coco always had 2 sewn in. One for her cigs, the other for her sewing kit. Since I don’t smoke, you’ll usually find candy in my pockets.

Can I get a show of hands of how many others worked today too? I mean, today went by so fast and I tell ya, I do not mind powering through government holidays.
Therefore, I took myself out to a nice little dinner tonight and had some good convo with the locals… not a bad way to spend a monday night either way.
Back to the daily grind tomorrow, have a fantastic week everyone!

We are about 1 month into Bahamian Lobster Season. Over the weekend, Huy and I were fortunate enough to go lobster diving/trolling/fishing on a friends boat, with their captain. You know, I am so blessed to live in such wonderful places and to do amazing things, all at my fingertips.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Labor Day (I will be working of course) no complaints here
